OOM
Room 37 looks deceptively the same as it always has.
(This does not mean that it's safe to assume the wardrobe portal leads anywhere predictable.
Also, there is a new and strangely impossible-to-remove painting adorning one wall. It doesn't just look like the eyes follow people in the room - they do.)
Still, after eyeing the painting for some time, Havelock has grown bored; as he mainly assumes that if it was dangerous it would have done something already.
So saying, he has availed himself of a shower (Ankh-Morpork is his home, but it is lacking in some areas) and settled down with a book, impervious to any sort of sinister atmosphere.
If the portrait had the ability, it would be pouting.

All in all, it hasn't achieved that much.

Have some pity, Havelock!
He can't even speak.
no subject
Havelock is a cruel heartless cad of a man.
But surely you knew that?
In tones of deeply unconvincing sincerity;
"I know, I wrong you deeply, of course you could. Anything you set your mind to."

It's probably not right to find mocking your poor, speechless boyfriend quite this entertaining.
(Then again, neither is killing people for a living.)
no subject
He already knows he can't withhold sex, because that would be punishing himself. And he knows Havelock knows this.
no subject
"You can retaliate in a week," he reminds him.
There's something to look forward to!
no subject
Puck regards Havelock murderously for a moment, before a canny expression crosses his face.
And he lunges forward to tickle him.
no subject
Havelock has frequently had cause to curse being born ticklish, but at least he's fully dressed at the moment - and accordingly wearing several layers of clothing, because Ankh-Morpork fashions tend heavily towards the buttoned-up.
He grits his teeth against laughing and gamely makes a grab at Puck's wrists to try and stop him.
no subject
Except that he would like to distract Havelock from trying to stop him, so he twists and cranes to try and bite Havelock's neck.
Lovingly?
no subject
!
Havelock makes a mildly outraged noise, and shoves forward to flip Puck down onto his back while he continues the struggle to get hold of his hands.
"Vicious- creature..."
no subject
He squirms his fingers towards Havelock's stomach while he decides.
no subject
(Besides: he likes Puck's vicious streak.)
Meanwhile, Puck gets in a jab that unfortunately makes Havelock half-collapse.
He knew he should never have let Puck learn all his weak spots.
no subject
As it happens, Havelock's half-collapsing brings him advantageously closer. Puck slings one arm around his waist to hold him nearer, pausing just a moment to secure his grip--
And starts tickling his side with renewed fervor.
no subject
He just has time to grab at Puck's arm as he goes off the edge, still shaking with laughter.
no subject
He grabs at their top blanket as he goes, but only succeeds in mussing up the covers.
no subject
Once he manages to draw it back in again, he peers upwards.
"Quite all right?"
no subject
Then he smiles, and bends in for a kiss.
(And perhaps predictably, reaches tickly fingers for Havelock's other side.)
no subject
Predictable enough that this time, Havelock grabs them. The kissing, however, is fine.
Assuming Puck still wants to, once thwarted.
no subject
You know, grudgingly.
no subject
...You know, sort of.
no subject
He bites his lip just to make sure he won't compromise himself.
no subject
(The moment the lip-biting starts, as it happens.)
"You should carry some paper with you," he observes.
no subject
(His fingertips stroke idly along Havelock's collarbone.)
Isn't that way too easy?
no subject
"Though if Coyote didn't specifically state that writing messages was out, I think she deserves for the loophole to stand."
Politician.
